Greetings to all Ski Club Enthusiasts

Firstly, thank you for joining! We will be kicking off our season immediately with our first social coming up this Wednesday at the Wave.

Ski Club Kickoff Social
When? Wednesday September 26th at 6:40 pm (until we feel like leaving)!
Where? The Wave, 2nd floor UCC
Why? Meet other people in the club, and possibly win a prize.

We will also be announcing details about our day trip to the Toronto Ski Show during this social on Wednesday.

Joining the Club
Another thing, for everyone that has yet to pay the membership fee, do so ASAP if you want to come to the social. It really is worth it. To pay go to the campus rec desk in front of the gym and ask to join the ski club.

T-shirts
If you have not picked up your t-shirt yet, please email ski@uwo.ca and we will arrange to bring a shirt to the social for you.

Hey Ski Club 07/08!

Clubs week is over… to the relief of the executive I’m sure who put in a lot of hours. Thanks guys.

I wanted to extend a THANK YOU to all of our members that signed up this week. This year should be great for all you wanna-be ski/board ninjas… yes I said NINJA!

I’ll encourage you fellow ski/board pimps/pimpesses to wear your sexy UWO Ski shirts for ease of recognition and as a demonstration of our look cool factor (LCF). We’ll get a time for this ASAP; keep a look out in your inboxes. The reason why we don’t know yet is because last year the Wave would kick us out at 7 or 9pm depending on the night and turn into 19+ only as it is a bar.

Oct 11-14 - TORONTO SKI AND SNOWBOARD SHOW

This is going to sick for all of us that new some new gear. Seriously, it’s all of last year’s stuff being sold at 50-90% off before all the ‘08 stuff comes in. THERE WILL BE A SIGN-UP FOR THIS. We also need to see what day (Fri or Sat likely) the majority want to go on. Keep your eyes on your inboxes…

Anyways, don’t worry about the trips for a few weeks. We’ll keep you posted… haha I said posted on a post-board…
