Ski Club Executive Elections

With the 2006/07 ski season coming to a close, it is time for the UWO Ski Club to say goodbye to its graduating members (in particular, President Mike Mitchell), catch up with friends that we haven’t seen since our latest trips (Whiteface, Tremblant), and most importantly, to plan for the 2007/08 ski season.

With that in mind, we will be having a Ski Club Social event on Monday, April 2nd at 7:00pm. We will first be taking care of Executive elections for the upcoming academic year in Ivey 2B04, where free pizza will be provided to all those who attend. Afterwards, we can head over to the Wave to hang out and enjoy some non-alcoholic beverages, courtesy of the club.

If you are interested in becoming an Executive member of the club, please prepare a brief one-minute speech to present at the election meeting explaining why you would like to be a Club Exec and what skills, experience, and unique background you have to contribute. If you cannot attend the meeting, you can also participate in the elections by submitting your “speech” to us by no later than March 31st (we’ll present it to the voters on your behalf).
