November Social

The UWO Ski Club will be hosting a casual club social this next Thursday, November 30th. Due to almost everyone being buried with assignments and exam preparations, we’ve decided to go with something a little more relaxing than the usual, and something that offers some time flexibility for those interested in participating… that’s right, the good old dinner and a movie.

The night will start off with dinner at the Wave (second floor of the UCC) at 7:30pm. The club will be providing some appetizers and free non-alcoholic beverages, and you’ll be free to order whatever you want beyond that. Then at around 9:00pm, we’ll be headed over to Western Film (which is right next door to the Wave on the second floor) to catch a screening of The Departed, which is a remake of the excellent Asian film “Infernal Affairs”, and has been one of the most critically-acclaimed films released so far this year.

If you can only make one of these two parts, no sweat, we’ve purposely set things up so that people can come and go as their needs dictate.
